WASHINGTON (AP) - District of Columbia Mayor Vincent Gray’s annual speech on the state of the district is being postponed by wintry weather.
The speech was set for Monday night, but now it has been rescheduled for March 11. Gray has traditionally used the speech to tout his accomplishments and introduce new initiatives.
The speech comes less than a month before the April 1 Democratic primary, when the mayor will face seven challengers. A poll last week showed him leading the field, but with only 28 percent support.
