MOSCOW, Idaho (AP) - The University of Idaho has named Mark Adams as the dean of the College of Law.

The school made the announcement Thursday and tells the Moscow-Pullman Daily News (https://bit.ly/1hiSgCw) that Adams will begin work on June 22.

He is replacing interim Dean Michael Satz, who took over after former Dean Don Burnett was named interim president of the university in May 2013.

Adams was the vice dean at Valparaiso University Law School, where he also served as associate dean for Academic Affairs, director of International Programs, and as a professor.

University of Idaho Interim Provost Katherine Aiken says Adams is well prepared to lead the College of Law as it builds its law program in Boise and continues legal education opportunities at the Moscow campus.
