MIAMI (AP) - The Obama Administration’s top health official is back in South Florida with just days left to sign up for health insurance under the Affordable Care Act.

Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, along with state Rep. Cynthia Stafford, will head to Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday for a “Souls to Enroll” event where counselors will help sign people up for health insurance. The enrollment deadline is Monday.

Florida has led the way among the 36 states relying on the federal exchange, with more than 440,000 enrollees. The White House says more than 6 million have signed up for health coverage, meaning the administration met its scaled back goal a few days early.

Those without health insurance face a fine of $95 or 1 percent of their income.
