DENVER (AP) - Gov. John Hickenlooper is visiting Grand Junction for a luncheon with a western Colorado advocacy group.

The Democratic governor plans to attend a Club 20 luncheon Friday, and talk with the group’s members about the Colorado Water Plan. That’s a long-term plan for allocating state’s water resources.

Hickenlooper will also tour the Halliburton Drill Bit and Service Center in Grand Junction. Following that, he’s meeting with the Grand Junction Area Chamber of Commerce, Energy and Economic Development Committee. He will be talking about local business development.
