NEW YORK (AP) - Kevin Garnett will miss his 15th straight game because of back spasms, and the Brooklyn Nets also will be without Andrei Kirilenko against Cleveland on Friday night.
Kirilenko will sit out a third consecutive game with a sprained left ankle. The reserve forward missed 26 games earlier this season with back spasms, an injury that has now kept Garnett sidelined for about a month.
The 37-year-old Garnett hasn’t played since a Feb. 27 victory in Denver.
Reserve guard Marcus Thornton has a bruised lower back and is listed as probable.
