NEW YORK (AP) - Cynthia McFadden is jumping to NBC News, while Juju Chang will replace her as co-anchor of ABC News’ “Nightline.”

The networks announced the changes on Thursday.

McFadden becomes NBC’s senior legal and investigative correspondent as a member of the network’s investigative unit.

She started at ABC News in 1994 as a legal correspondent before being named a “Nightline” correspondent. She has served as the program’s co-anchor for the past nine years.

Chang most recently has been a member of the “Nightline” team as a special correspondent and fill-in anchor. She also reported for “Good Morning America” and “20/20.” She has been with ABC News her entire career, starting as a desk assistant.

She joins Dan Harris and Dan Abrams at the “Nightline” anchor desk.
