MADISON, Wis. (AP) - The state Supreme Court has revoked two attorneys’ law licenses.
The court on Wednesday revoked Charles Labanowsky and Randy Wynn’s licenses. According to the court’s decisions and online court records, Labanowsky was convicted of fifth-offense drunken driving last year and sentenced to three years in prison. The state Office of Lawyer Regulation also has been investigating allegations he mishandled clients’ trust accounts.
Wynn, meanwhile, faces felony embezzlement charges in Milwaukee for allegedly stealing $784,734 from numerous clients.
Both attorneys filed documents with the court consenting to the revocations.
Labanowsky’s attorney in the drunken driving case said he no longer represents Labanowsky and declined comment. A call to Wynn’s office couldn’t be completed and neither he nor his attorney immediately responded to emails.
