LOS ANGELES (AP) - Authorities say a 22-year-old man found covered in blood has been arrested in connection with the stabbing death of his mother in Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles Times reports (https://lat.ms/OZXmZD) officers responding to a call Tuesday afternoon found a woman with multiple stab wounds lying on the living room floor of a home in the Sylmar area.
The woman, identified as 55-year-old Matilda Sanchez, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say an uncle who lives in the home told investigators that Sanchez was stabbed by her son, who has not been identified.
Detectives believe the son may have called 911 to “implicate his mother as the aggressor.”
