COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - Students from around South Carolina are taking part in a Special Olympics event.
On Tuesday, a rally is scheduled for Jamil Temple in Columbia. The 4th annual event was planned for the Statehouse steps but was moved inside because of rain in the weather forecast.
Organizers say the theme of this year’s rally is “Get Fired Up!” Tuesday’s program includes live entertainment and spirit awards.
