ATLANTA (AP) - A $2,000 reward is being offered for information on the whereabouts of a Mexican national accused of causing a Gilmer County wreck that killed a teenager 14 years ago.

The FBI said in a release Tuesday that Crime Stoppers Atlanta is offering the money for information that helps catch Gonzalez Gonzalo Harrell.

The FBI says Harrell in June 2000 crashed his vehicle into one driven by Billy Inman, who had stopped for a red light. The impact killed Inman’s 16-year-old son Dustin and the family dog and left his wife with serious injuries.

The FBI says Harrell fled while being treated at a hospital for injuries suffered in the collision.

The teen’s name is now used by the Dustin Inman Society, which pushes for tougher enforcement of immigration laws.
