SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) - The Spokane County, Wash., sheriff says a deputy has been placed on paid leave while the agency investigates a complaint that his marked patrol car was parked for lengthy periods outside a home that is not his.

The Spokesman-Review reports (https://is.gd/9O3by6 ) that Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich confirmed Deputy Todd Saunders’ leave on Monday.

The sheriff says the woman who lived at the home and her adult children are not being cooperative with detectives looking into the allegations. The complaint was originally lodged by a man who lived in the neighborhood.
