NEW CASTLE, Del. (AP) - Banking giant JPMorgan Chase is asking Delaware officials for $1.5 million in taxpayer money to help pay for costs associated with a planned expansion of its workforce.
The Council on Development Finance was scheduled to consider the request at a meeting Monday in New Castle.
JPMorgan Chase asking for a strategic fund capital expenditure grant of up to $1.5 million.
Markell administration officials say the money would be used to support the creation of up to 500 new jobs.
