SENECA FALLS, N.Y. (AP) - Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand is headed to a women’s rights landmark to promote programs designed to help women in the workplace.

Gillibrand will visit Seneca Falls in central New York on Saturday to speak at the First Presbyterian Church.

The church is where suffragists proclaimed the first Equal Rights Amendment in 1923.

Gillibrand will promote legislation that would expand family leave and mandate equal pay for equal work.
