Hillary Rodham Clinton, former first lady and former Secretary of State, is the featured guest of a LGBT-themed fundraiser hosted by Ready for Hillary, a super PAC that wants to see her president.

The planned April 7 event at the Streamline Circle in Manhattan is the brainchild of billionaire Jon Stryker and will feature California Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom, Politico reported. Also on the guest list: Mrs. Clinton and her friend, Jill Iscol, a source said to the media outlet.

Tickets start at $500.

But Seth Bringman, communications director for Ready for Hillary, said that fans of Mrs. Clinton might want to hold back their hopes. In an email, he said the “former Secretary Clinton does not attend Ready for Hillary events, including the upcoming LGBT event in New York City.”

Mr. Newsom has taken a leadership role in the gay marriage effort that’s woven through the nation. Meanwhile, Mr. Stryker has donated big bucks to the LGBT community and its causes, as well as to top Democratic Party events, Politico said.

Most recently, he hosted a major fundraiser for Terry McAuliffe during his run for the Virginia governor’s seat that brought out the likes of Bill Clinton as a special guest.
