ST. LOUIS (AP) - St. Louis police are investigating what they believe was an organized neighborhood fight - the second in less than a week.

KMOV-TV (https://bit.ly/1fLZKt1 ) reports that the fight early Thursday spilled onto the streets and involved dozens of participants.

Police say the brawl broke out around 1 a.m. and involved groups of teenagers. An officer confirmed that two groups were part of an increasingly common organized fight mob.

Earlier this month, after a similar fight on the Delmar Loop, Police Chief Sam Dotson said a plan was in the works to combat the growing trend.

No shots were fired in the latest fight. But neighbors say they’re worried that as summer approaches, the trend will get worse.
