Vice President Joseph R. Biden continues to fuel rumors he’s gearing up for a 2016 presidential run.
On March 25, Mr. Biden will travel to New Hampshire, home of the nation’s first presidential primary. The event in Nashua will focus on “workforce development and the value of on-the-job training opportunities,” according to the White House. More details are forthcoming, the administration said.
It’ll be the second time in six months that the vice president has visited a critical state in the presidential primary process.
Last fall, Mr. Biden delivered a speech in Des Moines, Iowa, at an annual steak fry hosted by Sen. Tom Harkin, a Democrat. The Iowa caucuses are the first contests in the primary election cycle.
The vice president has made so secret of the fact he’s pondering a White House bid in 2016.
Early polls, however, show Mr. Biden miles behind former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton.
