CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - Freshman Jarrod West scored seven of his 28 points in overtime to lead Notre Dame to a 63-57 win over Tucker County in the Class A quarterfinals Thursday.

Second-seeded Notre Dame (21-4) will face third-seeded Charleston Catholic in Friday’s semifinals where it will go after its first appearance in the finals since 1986.

Austin Zirk’s 3-pointer put Tucker County ahead 52-50 with 2:40 left in regulation. Cal Cistaro’s jumper for Notre Dame with 2:16 remaining sent the game into overtime.

Notre Dame scored the first five points of overtime and outscored Tucker County 11-5 in the extra period.

Cistaro finished with 19 points and 11 rebounds.

Ian Nichols scored 17 and Derek Zirk had 13 points and 12 rebounds for seventh-seeded Tucker County (17-7).
