TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say a leaking gas line near the University of Arizona has been shut down and the situation is all clear now.

Three buildings near the school were evacuated for several hours Thursday after the leak was detected.

The university sent out an alert about 10 a.m. Thursday because North Cherry Avenue between First and Second streets was closed due to the leak.

Employees from Southwest Gas arrived on scene to shut down the line.

There are no reports of any injuries.
