LAS VEGAS (AP) - Two college students from Las Vegas have been selected as White House interns.

Lance Arberry of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and Marylee Keller of Whitworth University in Washington state will serve as interns for the spring semester.

Interns will work in one of several White House departments, including the Domestic Policy Council, the National Economic Council, the Office of Cabinet Affairs, the Office of the First Lady and the Office of the Vice President.

The program’s mission is to make the White House accessible for future leaders across the country and to prepare those devoted to public service for future leadership positions.
