HELENA, Mont. (AP) - Gov. Steve Bullock has appointed a Bozeman businessman and a Billings attorney to the state Board of Regents.

The governor’s office named Davidson Companies chairman and CEO Bill Johnstone and attorney Martha Sheehy Wednesday.

They replace Angela McLean, whom Bullock appointed lieutenant governor, and Todd Buchanan, whose term expired last month.

The regents have constitutional authority over the university system and its budget. Members of the seven-person board are appointed by the governor and confirmed by the state Senate, which is out of session until January.
