HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) - State police say a man’s body has been found at Chatfield Hollow State Park but the death doesn’t appear to be suspicious.

State police spokesman Lt. Paul Vance said in a statement that troopers went to the park shortly after 3 p.m. Wednesday after getting a report of a possible death, and met state environmental officers who took them to the scene.

Vance said the man was pronounced dead by EMS responders. The man’s name hasn’t been released.

The state medical examiner’s office will determine how the man died.

State police are continuing to investigate.
