TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - A spring training game between the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees created a buzz.

The game was delayed for seven minutes heading into the bottom of the third inning Tuesday because of a swarm of bees in left field.

Red Sox left fielder Mike Carp walked toward the infield to point out the situation to umpires at Steinbrenner Field, and they called out the grounds crew to address the matter.

The grounds crew received a large cheer from the fans, who were told to be patient during the stoppage,

After the removal process, New York’s Francisco Cervelli, tripled to deep left.
