MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) - Vermont’s most famous ice cream makers are going to be at the Montpelier Statehouse backing a plan to support earned sick days and increasing the minimum wage.

Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield are planning to begin scooping ice cream in the Statehouse cafeteria at around 12:30 p.m.

Ben and Jerry will join others who are pushing the Legislature to pass laws calling for paid sick days for Vermont workers and increasing the minimum wage.
