PASCAGOULA, Miss. (AP) - A 35-year-old Moss Point woman will serve 20 years in prison for abusing and torturing her three children in what officials have described as one of Jackson County’s worst cases of child abuse.

The Sun Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1gEAe9Q) Stacey Williams pleaded guilty in February to four charges of aggravated domestic violence, along with three charges of felony child abuse.

Circuit Judge Kathy King Jackson sentenced Williams to a total of 20 years on each felony aggravated domestic violence charge, to run concurrently to a sentence of 30 years in prison on each of the felony child abuse charges. Williams will actually serve 20 years followed by 10 years of post-release supervision.

In addition, the judge ordered Williams to have no contact with her children, now 13, 16 and 18.
