BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - Fargo banker and Democratic state Sen. George B. Sinner says he will seek his party’s endorsement to run for the U.S. House.

Sinner says he will launch his campaign Tuesday in his hometown of Casselton. He also is holding a kick-off campaign later Tuesday in Bismarck.

Sinner is the son of former Democratic Gov. George A. Sinner.

Freshman Republican Rep. Kevin Cramer holds North Dakota’s lone U.S. House seat and plans to seek the party’s endorsement for a second term.

DuWayne Hendrickson of Minot also is seeking the GOP endorsement.

Fargo businessman Jack Seaman also is running for the House seat as a Libertarian Party candidate.
