FARGO, N.D. (AP) - U.S. Sen. John Hoeven plans to talk about his recent travels to Ukraine during an event in Fargo this week.

Hoeven is among a group of eight U.S. senators that traveled to the nation recently.

Hoeven on Wednesday will be joined by local business leaders and trade officials who have strong ties to Ukraine.

The North Dakota Republican has said his focus on his trip would be on how the situation there affects agriculture, trade and energy ties between the U.S. and Ukraine. The North Dakota Trade Office maintains a full-time Ukrainian trade representative.
