ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - Gov. Andrew Cuomo is encouraging people to celebrate Women’s History Month by visiting historic women’s rights locations around New York state.

New York is home to Seneca Falls, where the country’s first women’s rights convention took place in 1848, and Hyde Park, where Eleanor and Franklin Roosevelt lived

Cuomo says the state’s Path Through History initiative organizes more than 500 heritage sites across the state, including those important in the women’s rights movement.

A full list of the women’s rights history sites can be found at www.PathThroughHistory.ny.gov.
