Back in February, Green Bay Packers star Aaron Rodgers expressed his praise for Drew Gooden. At that time, the Washington Wizards fan base was still getting to know the veteran forward.

The quarterback made sure everyone realized his assessment scored a touchdown following Gooden’s dynamic 21-point performance in Washington’s 101-94 victory over the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday night.

Rodgers took to Twitter after the power forward made 8 of 11 field goal attempts and scored 11 points in the fourth quarter.

Gooden previously played in Cheese Head land with the Milwaukee Bucks, which is apparently where Rodgers fell hard for the forward’s mid-range game.

The Wizards have plenty of offseason roster decisions to make. Aaron, don’t be shy about sharing your opinion…
