WARSAW, Poland (AP) - The Polish Olympic Committee says a member of the country’s bobsled team failed a doping test during the Sochi Games.
The committee says Daniel Zalewski tested positive for a banned stimulant in a test taken Feb. 23. Zalewski was part of the Poland team that finished 27th in the four-man competition that day.
The Polish body said it was informed by the International Olympic Committee on Friday that Zalewski’s “A’’ and “B’’ samples both showed traces of the stimulant.
Zalewski is the seventh athlete to fail a doping test at the Sochi Olympics.
