A tattooed image of Sen. Ted Cruz appeared on posters around Beverly Hills late Thursday night.

The posters of the Texas Republican, which feature the senator’s face over a tattooed body, have been plastered in various locations. The Beverly Hilton hotel, The Viper Room, The Seventh Veil, Whiskey-a-Go-Go, car windshields and utility poles have all been adorned with the Senator’s altered image, Breitbart reported.

The images are made to look like tour posters, reading, “TED CRUZ’S SO-CAL BLACKLISTED & LOVING IT TOUR,” with a date and location, March 15, Beverly Hilton.

Mr. Cruz responded in good humor on twitter, saying: “Saw this, but noticed an error. So I wanted to make one thing clear: I don’t smoke cigarettes.”

Mr. Cruz is expected to give a keynote address at the Claremont Institute’s annual Winton Churchill dinner on Saturday at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel.
