RIVERSIDE, Calif. (AP) - A Riverside County pastor has been arrested on suspicion of raping a teen girl, and sheriff’s investigators believe there are more victims.
The Press-Enterprise says (https://bit.ly/1gq8wkN ) 41-year-old Jerome Anthony Clay was taken into custody Thursday at his home in Perris.
Sheriff’s officials served search warrants at the residence and at Compassion Church.
Clay was booked on suspicion of rape, oral copulation with a person under 16, and sexual penetration by force. He is being held in lieu of $110,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in court March 17.
Sheriff’s investigators are urging other potential victims to contact law enforcement.
