Metro Atlanta unemployment center to remain closed

NORCROSS, Ga. (AP) - Georgia Department of Labor officials say one of their career centers will remain closed for maintenance.

Officials said in a release Thursday that the building on Beaver Ruin Road has been closed since Feb. 24 for roof repairs. Officials originally expected the building to reopen on March 17.

Customers are encouraged to visit the department’s website to apply for a job, locate another career center or file unemployment insurance claims.
