PHENIX CITY, Ala. (AP) - An eastern Alabama man is accused of throwing a brick at the home of man who maintains a Facebook page known as “The Neighborhood Watchers.”

Authorities say the dispute centers on an update the administrator posted on the social media site.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office says 22-year-old Zachary Heath Belitz faces a disorderly conduct charge. He’s accused of throwing the brick Wednesday after the Facebook group’s administrator posted an item about Belitz’ upcoming trial on indecent exposure charges involving multiple women. Belitz faces an April 15 trial in that case.

On Wednesday, sheriff’s officials say the Facebook administrator ran outside with a shotgun and fired twice after the brick was thrown, and a truck fled the scene. No one was hurt.

It wasn’t known whether Belitz has an attorney.
