DENVER (AP) - Concealed-gun permit holders in Colorado have greater flexibility to renew their permits under a bill signed into law Friday by Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper.
The law allows the renewal of concealed-carry permits at any sheriff’s office. Current law requires people to renew their permits with the sheriff’s office that issued it.
The measure had broad bipartisan support in the Legislature.
The handgun measure was among 13 bills Hickenlooper signed into law Friday.
