TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) - The Florida Supreme Court is rejecting a series of last-minute appeals from convicted murderer Robert L. Henry.

Henry was convicted of killing two Broward County women in November 1987. He is scheduled to be executed March 20.

The court on Friday unanimously rejected Henry’s appeals including one that argued the state’s current lethal injection procedure is unconstitutional.

Henry worked with Phyllis Harris and Janet Thermidor at a fabric store.

According to the governor’s office, Henry told Harris the store was being robbed and he had been told to blindfold her and lock her in the men’s room. Henry then attacked Thermidor with the hammer and robbed the store himself. He later used flammable liquid to set Thermidor on fire, then attacked Harris with the hammer and set her on fire.
