ENID, Okla. (AP) - An autopsy has found that a 26-year-old woman found unresponsive in a Garfield County jail cell died from an accidental drug overdose.

The autopsy on Jordan Thompson determined the inmate had a prescription painkiller and an anti-anxiety drug in her system at the time of her death on Nov. 16. Thompson was found unresponsive after she was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs, child endangerment and other complaints.

The Enid News & Eagle reports (https://bit.ly/1gnjbwA ) Thompson was arrested after she ran into a parked vehicle. A police report said Thompson told officers she became distracted after her 3-year-old son threw a bottle of juice at her while she was driving.

Police said Thompson was taken to a hospital before she was booked in the jail.
