Rep. Adam Schiff, California Democrat, said Wednesday that Sen. Dianne Feinstein is correct in calling the CIA’s spying on senators unconstitutional if what she claims is true.
“She is justified if the facts are as she stated, and I don’t have any reason to believe otherwise,” he said on MSNBC. “These are very serious allegations.”
Mrs. Feinstein, California Democrat, spoke on the Senate floor earlier this week about the CIA spying on the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence. Mr. Schiff said that clearly violates the principle of the separation of powers, and that the charges will need to be investigated.
