LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - A Cabot man is dead after falling from the roof of an industrial building in Little Rock.

Police identified the victim as 51-year-old James Taylor. He died Wednesday morning from a fall at a location on West 65th Street.

Taylor and a co-worker, James Strader, were using a tape measure to determine the size of the roof of the large, metal building. Strader told officers that he turned around and suddenly no longer saw Taylor. The men had been about 200 feet apart.

Strader says he ran to the opposite side of the roof and saw Taylor face down on the parking lot.

Taylor was taken to a hospital, where police say he was pronounced dead at 9:42 a.m.
