WAUSAU, Wis. (AP) - A Wausau man is being held on $1 million bond in a fatal shooting outside a local bar.

Thirty-year-old John Lewis is charged with 25 felonies, including first-degree intentional homicide in the death of KC Christopher Elliott. The 27-year-old victim was shot in the stomach outside Sidetracked Bar in Wausau Jan. 3 and died following surgery at Aspirus Hospital.

A criminal complaint says Lewis and Elliott were drinking and shooting pool and eventually argued and physically fought outside the bar. WAOW-TV (https://bit.ly/1oLWS4i ) reports a witness told police Lewis retrieved a gun from his car and shot Elliott.

Lewis is also charged with possessing heroin and 14 counts of bail jumping. Online court records do not list an attorney for Lewis.
