CHICAGO (AP) - A Chicago man is being held on $2 million bond for a shooting that injured six people during a party on the city’s West Side.

The Chicago Sun-Times reports (https://bit.ly/1gkoaOl ) 22-year-old Patrick Calhoun is charged with aggravated battery in connection with Sunday morning’s shootings.

Prosecutors didn’t offer a motive for the shooting, which they say took place when Calhoun returned to a party with a gun and opened fire in a crowded basement.

Among those injured was a 19-year-old standout basketball player who’s a senior at Orr Academy.

Tyquone Greer was shot in the calf. He says guests were “just out having a good time, partying and enjoying ourselves when the shots rang out.”

Calhoun’s lawyer says the man does maintenance work at O’Hare International Airport.
