USDA reported Monday that the entire adjustment came in the early-mid oranges based on deliveries to processors and packinghouses in early March.
The USDA reduced this season’s grapefruit by six percent to 16 million boxes.
The Lakeland Ledger (https://bit.ly/1cqUsb8) reports that the Tangerine production dropped 7 percent to 3.25 million boxes from February. Tangelo production is up 13 percent to 900,000 boxes.
