SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (AP) - The Ohio Army National Guard is welcoming home about 260 soldiers returning from deployment in Kuwait at a ceremony in southwestern Ohio.

The soldiers from the 371st Sustainment Brigade were being welcomed back at a Saturday ceremony at Springfield High School in Springfield. The brigade is based in that city.

The brigade’s Headquarters and Special Troops Battalion was deployed to Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, from June to February. The soldiers conducted logistical support in eight countries, including Afghanistan.

The 371st Brigade provided mission command to three battalions. It exercised mission command of postal, finance, supply, transport, ammunition, fuel, maintenance and warehouse operations, among others.
