CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - Wildlife officials say Wyomingites can now fill the state’s hunter education requirement online.

The Wyoming Game and Fish Department says a new program called Hunter-ed.com features interactive and Wyoming-specific content and videos that provide important safety information.

The Casper Star-Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/1hzFTBl ) the program teaches the same information as the traditional classes, but students still need to complete the hands-on field day before they earn their hunter education cards.

Traditional classes will still be taught in classrooms by certified volunteers.
