SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — Republican candidate for U.S. Senate Annette Bosworth was doing a live shot on Fox News Tuesday night when anchor Megyn Kelly asked her reaction to Mike Rounds being declared winner of the GOP primary.

Bosworth responded: “Well, that’s news to me. I didn’t know that.”

Kelly asked, “Really?” and Bosworth responded, “I didn’t, no. So, I found out on national television.”

Former Gov. Rounds beat four other candidates to earn the GOP’s nomination for the seat being vacated by Sen. Tim Johnson.

Bosworth, talking via a live feed from her office, said the next step is to support the winning Republican candidate even though the results are disappointing.

Bosworth had been appearing to talk about vulgar blog commenters but the session was abruptly cut short for time.
