Police in Colorado went car-by-car, searching for the suspects who were responsible for gunning down three at a rap concert in the parking lot of Red Rocks Amphitheater in the wee hours of Friday morning.

The three were sitting in the white SUV at the concert — Nas, Flying Lotus and Schoolboy Q — when gunshots pierced their vehicle, NBC News reported. They were wounded, but not killed.

Jacki Kelley, the public information officer for Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, said the white SUV drove from the scene. It was found parked at an intersection in nearby Denver, where police approached and ultimately transferred the three to a hospital, NBC News reported. Their injuries aren’t believed to be life-threatening, Ms. Kelley added.

A Twitter posted explained the scene, shortly after midnight: “Large police presence at Red Rocks Park due to shooting. All ’concert goer’ cars in the park being searched.”

Police think there were several witnesses.
