PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. (AP) - In a story May 29 about a job fair in Peachtree City, The Associated Press reported erroneously the hours of the event. It will be held from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., not 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Peachtree City-based company looking to hire 40 for manufacturing jobs

PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. (AP) - Georgia Department of Labor officials say they’re hosting a recruitment fair for a manufacturer of ice makers and commercial refrigeration equipment.

Officials say Hoshizaki America is looking to hire 40 workers for plants in Peachtree City and Griffin. The department is hosting a recruitment fair at the company’s headquarters in Peachtree City Wednesday from 3 to 6 p.m.

Officials say Hoshizaki is recruiting assembly line and sheet-metal machine operators, material handlers, welders and more.

Federal laws require applicants to be 18 years old. Applicants must also have a high school diploma or GED.
