Conservative talk show icon Rush Limbaugh summed up President Obama’s swap of Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl for five Taliban prisoners at Guantanamo Bay as little more than helping the enemy.

In his words, on his Monday show: “[Obama’s] replenishing the enemy.”

Mr. Limbaugh, who took a week off from his show, returned to finally comment on the prisoner swap deal — bluntly asking about the benefits that will come to America.

“What, at the end of the day, happened here? Obama replenished the enemy,” He said, WND.com reported. “The Taliban reaction to this is proof positive,” referring to how the terrorist group chief heralded the swap as a “great victory” and a “historic moment,” as media widely reported.

Mr. Limbaugh went on: “[Obama] has never worn the uniform and disdains people who do,” and his executive aides are “tone deaf … [and] don’t understand military culture. The point here is to empty Guantanamo, [akin to] restocking the enemy with their front-line people [in] a war on terror that is still underway. He’s been itching to do that.”
