ST. JOHNSBURY, Vt. (AP) - Vermont state police are investigating the death of a 22-month-old boy in St. Johnsbury.
Police say they were called to a location on Mountain View Drive in St. Johnsbury Saturday morning at about 9 a.m.
Authorities say the toddler was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel before state troopers arrived.
Police did not specify whether the location was a residence.
An autopsy is being performed to determine how the child died.
No other details were released Sunday.
