FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. (AP) - The SkyFest air show returned to Fairchild Air Force Base this weekend for the first time since 2010 when it was grounded by budget problems.
The Spokesman-Review reports (https://bit.ly/Sn5hBV) about 125,000 people attended on Saturday, the first day of the free two-day show.
The F-16 Thunderbirds precision air team is one of the main attractions. Among the aircraft on display are the Black Hawk helicopter, the tilt-rotor CV-22 Osprey and the KC-135 Stratotanker, the Air Force’s main aerial refueler.
