GREAT FALLS, Mont. (AP) - The Montana Air National Guard has officially marked its new mission and a new commander.

A ceremony attended by state and Pentagon dignitaries on Saturday marked the unit’s mission change from a fighter wing to an airlift wing flying C-130 cargo planes.

In addition, the Air Guard unit marked the transfer of command from Brig. General Brad Livingston to Brig. General Bryan Fox.
